- The Arongen Kindness Club has published a book entitled “Kindness Is…” Each student contributed a written and illustrated page reflecting their own interpretation of kindness. This book will be available for students to borrow from the Arongen library!

- Skano fifth grader, Aiden, will be featured on News 10 for raising money for toys and gifts cards to donate to children at Albany Med instead of gifts for his birthday.
- Tesago Alumni and Acadia student Annelie Jones (center) was part of the equestrian team that won the Middle School National IEA Championship this past weekend in St. Louis.

- Shenendehowa elementary students spoke at Operation Safe Stop Day – an annual event to promote school bus safety and educate the public about the dangers of illegally passing a stopped school bus when its red lights are flashing.

- 9th grader, Bhuvika, took first place at the tenth annual Albany Regional Brain Bee after defeating two opponents in two additional tiebreaker rounds.
- 11th grader, Sonia S., is headed to the National Shakespeare Recitation Competition after winning the Albany Branch Competition (click to vote and support her in the National Competition)!
- The High School International Field Trip to Peru during April break, taken at Machu Picchu. The students had an incredible experience, engaging enthusiastically with the local culture and putting their Spanish skills to great use in conversations with the people they met.
- Keith Collins, Director of Clifton Park Halfmoon EMS, delivered a presentation to the Careers in Patient Care class, taught by Nate Chin. Following the presentation, his team provided students with a tour of the ambulance rig and expose students to the life-saving equipment used in emergency medical services.
- Koda Middle School Q3 Top Dog Award Recipients in recognition of their hard work, dedication, and outstanding achievements throughout the third quarter. Students that are recognized exemplify what it means to B.A.R.K. with Bulldog Pride: Be Here, Act Responsible, Remember Safety, Kindness Matters, Set Goals.
- High school teacher Molly Stammel and Gowana 6th grader Colin Stammel met with Governor Hochul for a round table discussion about distraction free classrooms. Both had an opportunity to have sit down discussions with lawmakers, and visit the Assembly floor.
- Back in February, High School Latin students travelled to Florence, Siena, and Rome, Italy to study ancient and renaissance history and art.
- Koda Student Council collected items for Yellow Ribbon Day sponsored by the Blue Star Mothers to support troops serving overseas.
- The Shenendehowa Jazz Ensemble received awards for Outstanding Saxophone Section, Outstanding Trombone Section, and Outstanding Rhythm Section at the Regional Essentially Ellington Jazz Festival.
